DNS Changes for RADIUS Servers

We will be performing maintanence on the Top Level RADIUS Server DNS entries on January 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.  There is no action needed from you, and your institution should not see any interruption or impact of service.

As you know, we are in the process of moving to new IP addresses for the TLRS1 and TLRS2 servers (163.253.31.2 and 163.253.30.2 respectively). As a next step in the process, on January 1, 2019, we will shorten the TTL (Time to Live) on the DNS records for tlrs1.eduroam.us and tlrs2.eduroam.us to 10 minutes in preparation for DNS changes.

On January 2 we will temporarily remove the “new” TRLS1 and TRLS2 IP addresses. Again, this should not impact eduroam service for your institution.

On January 3 the TTLs will be restored to their original values.
